| For most people here, I'd say leave the HICAS. For what it is and what it does, it does it very well and I don't mind the feeling especially since it's saved my ass already in an emergency lane change. Usually the only people I see removing it are those that: 1) participate heavily in some form of racing where it comes into play (i.e. road course people that want total control without HICAS butting in) 2) people that are skilled drivers and for personal preferrence would rather deal with the situation themselves (similar to #1 but without the track necessarily) 3) people with huge rims or some other item that would require the removal of the system to make room 4) people that have their HICAS system fail and don't want to pay to get it fixed (not the greatest reason, but a reason!) That covers most of the bases...I may be forgetting something (hell, I got in at 5am last night). Realistically, the average person should leave it. It does its job well, sometimes without some people noticing and it can help in a tight situation. If you don't meet any of the above criteria there's no need to eliminate it "just because it can be". Save the money on that mod and get something else :) Just my thoughts.
